LumaFusion 2.0 is now available in the App Store. This is a massive new update that doubles the number of tracks for video and audio, streamlines the user interface, and much more.

Hi All,

Not sure the best way to request a feature but please please please add an option on export of video to have the audio be mono. I do a lot of trade show, event show coverage videos etc and often times I will have any where from 2-4 audios sources. A cam will have a L and R and B cam might as well. I love the additional tracks with 2.0 to be able to sync all of the video and audio and link them, so far so good. However you’re probably going to reply that I can fill audio but this adds volume where as a dedicated mono export would make things so much easier. Please please please add mono audio as an export option.

Thanks!

No, not Bueller

The best way to ask for a feature is to contact support with the request

support@luma-touch.com

(There's a lot of requests and only a small team)

I thought posting feature requests on this forum was best? Even bugs. That way they don’t have to reply? Do you have to alert them to any issues here Dave?

If we can’t fix it between ourselves on here then the best way is to contact support directly

Most often though, I contact the developers and report back for you all

If there’s loads of similar requests or loads of similar bugs I let the developers know.

They are busy developing

Thank you heaps for your work Dave but this system makes me feel uncertain. I the user will always want to think that they are aware of my issue even if it’s trivial for others. I don’t mind if they can’t help but I do need to know that they know. Are you saying that users should not report bugs through this forum? Should I contact support with every little thing just in case and not bother with the forum? Before I was quite happy thinking that they would always know about anything here. Should I contact them to ask them this? I’d really rather not bother them. But I don’t mind bothering you :D

Is it a bug, a one off, a user error or a feature that doesn’t actually exist?

I would report it on the forum first, as most people do

Generally someone on here has the answer (quite often it’s you :D)

Send them an email ‘Contact Support ;) ‘ and let us know what they say. That’s how to get the definitive answer - perhaps include a link to this thread
