To be fair, it seems like Pro Audio production is ALWAYS an afterthought with NLE’s.
They ALL suck.
They ALL require a DAW for super fine details (and quality)

Adobe Audition is a really amazing piece of kit. You can’t do much with video, besides scrubbing and playback, but the tools are a really nice compromise for video editors who are inexperienced with audio, or too intimidated to learn a DAW. (That isn’t criticism, the learning curve is steep in most of them)

I would like to see LF consider a companion, (like LumaFx) for audio production, that supports AUV3.

This would mean, misbehaving AUV3 won’t crash LF, but MAY crash the new Audio editor.

What I am saying is, build a companion program that integrates finished audio into LF seaml3ssly and unfinished audio from LF into the companion program.

I’ll just chime in to offer encouragement for more audio capacity. Minimally, per track and master effects are critical. Working per clip has really kept my projects fairly short.

I’ve discovered Auria Pro and it’s really the only DAW I’d consider equal to LF on iOS. It’s also highly independent, produced by a very small team. It would be incredible to see some collaboration here.

Thanks for your great work,
