No easy answer,
Perspective from behind the lens.
Puppets are MP’s in the video, plastic and wooden.

Reason we have implemented bike lanes is to curb virus out breaks.
Walking visitors on prom rub shoulders without face masks.

Ending images I drew from planet of the apes, replaced statue of Liberty with 360 tower in Brighton.

thank you Dave,

Video probably lost on most viewers, unless you know the films and what the drawings are about.
With a touch of robs sarcasm thrown in.

Other side of the project, was testing Beta version, optimisation.

Screen recording / story blocks / old phone camera / slow motion all filmed at different rates.
Think thats 59 frames, screen recording on iPad.
120 slow mo DJI Osmo
30 frames on old phone.
StoryBlocks clips 4 K

LF - Work flow appears to handle and not crash.
One year ago.
LF would crash a lot in rendering out all these different frame rates.
Incompatible sources. Memory drainage etc.
LF developers have brought LF forwards a long way in 2020.

Yeah I was guessing a lot about the meaning but thought it was very clever and complex editing

Hello Mark,

The meaning was frustration at Brightons new bike lane.
The traffic now stagnent and produces more pollution due to being stationary.

So for fun I made the video of what I see each day at the end of the road where I live.

Intro words are from Mad Max,
The world was powered by the black fuel.
Cities of pipe and steel.
Two mighty tribes went to war.
Cars and bikes, evolution revolution.

Puppets in my video are the leaders - they did not talk.
Nothing could stand the avalanche.

Then I break into Brighton sea front of traffic - words "were fixing the street what the hell do you think we're doing"

Micheal Douglas leaves his car and stationary traffic, and says I'm going home.
He takes the bike lane - Boris Johnson here very big on bike lanes.

I illustrate green light and no cars are moving its now grid locked.
Then sea front prom shows lots of people shoulder to shoulder.

Later I find out - central government implemented the bike lane with no talks.
Reasons I have found out, are to reduce the issues of covid.

Which is ironic as the sea front at the pier is packed, no one wears a face mask.
Micheal Douglas opens door next scene bike.

That shows viewers a typical experience in UK car door opens, car driver says oh sorrow to cyclist.
You should not be on the road you do not pay road tax's.

The 360 I tower image based upon planet of the apes end scene you probably know the words.

Waves represent the bad weather to come as we are now entering autumn.
Bike line becomes empty and everyone goes back to driving in the car.

You Mark probably have no issues like heavy traffic in NZ.
South East of the UK is one of the heaviest congested areas, fact Brighton streets have less pavement space than centre of Tokyo !

I’m humbled by your work Rob. I’m just making a video of assembling a wooden train model while the weather is rubbish!

Wow you are catching up Rob. That seem like last century. Yes NZ is good and life has been pretty normal. Every now and then a little outbreak is imported which is alway worrying. I hope our luck continues because I’ve been able to make some nice travel videos of our beautiful South Island. I’d say you guys are finally on the up now. Hopefully the vaccines will start having some impact. Regards.
