Hi everyone,

My lovely lady and I are keen bushwalkers and are on a quest to climb all 158 Abels - a term given to the highest mountains in the state of Tasmania, Australia.

You can check out our channel - all edited on LumaFusion - at https://www.youtube.com/c/BenderXingAbelAdventures

Cheers, Ben.

Hi Ben. I can’t believe I lasted through an entire video like that even though I like bush walking, running and orienteering. Perhaps I should add Tasmania since we had a fantastic stay 30 years ago! I was also impressed with your obvious state of preparedness, navigational expertise and willingness to turn back if in doubt. Particularly necessary in Tasmania I’d say.
Anyway this is a credit to your video making skill. No flashy effects, great shots and straightforward storytelling. My only suggestion would be that perhaps the music was a little loud compared to the commentary but that might be my aging ears.

Thanks Mark, appreciate the kind words.

I'll readily admit that up until recently I didn't put a whole lot of work into audio mixing our videos, which is pathetic given I've been a keen muso/audio engineer for a couple of decades. At present time is an issue, as is a decent monitoring environment.

The auto-ducking feature of LumaFusion is a godsend for productions like ours, but I'm hoping though they'll add normalising functionality and the ability to strap a compressor/limiter across the stereo bus in future versions. Manually matching audio levels between clips is pretty time consuming!

Cheers, Ben.
