Would it be possible to relax the restrictions on this? It is very difficult to do a search for existing threads when almost everything that I can think of is rejected.

Thanks.

P.S. I'm trying to find out why an imported .mov file will display perfectly well on my Mac but won't do so on my iPad nor when imported to LumaFusion. Thanks!

Hi Kent

The search feature of the forum is and has always been poor. Unfortunately it's a 'feature' of the software

Is there anything different about the .mov file you're importing for example bitrate. camera type compared to what you normally use?

If you can get the file into your timeline have you tried to 'optimise and consolidate' the project?

It’s better to search using Google or DuckDuckGo including the forum address of http://forums.luma-touch.com/

Too bad about the search. Oh, well.

I ended up converting it to an m4v and that did the trick.
It was a file from my wife that played well on my Mac but not on the iPad for some reason.

Hi there
H264 or the version you exported to. IOS Candy land only supports a fraction of codec’s- which laptops desktop etc support most.
Pro res is a .mov as an example.
Think I am correct iPads do not run apples own pro res quick time.
(That’s file exported from final cut)
