One of the things I did in PowerDirector on Windows was used a color grading add-in that let you select an area, color grade it, and it would attempt to ‘track’ that object if it moved and keep the color grading. I know there’s no ‘area selection’ system in Luma Fusion, just things like masks & chroma keying, so I’m wondering if the same approaach could be used, to select someone’s face/skin/arms and color grade it throughout a section of video to fix things like blotchiness caused by a spotlight or overexposed lighting.

Might not be what you are looking for exactly, but worth a try anyway.

Notice in that link that I also asked about color grading by an area or region. If you are a colorist, you'll recognize this as an essential color grading tool (often combined with other selection tools such as luminance or other qualifiers). The best I have been able to accomplish in LumaFusion is to use the cropping tool combined with luminance to grade a region (and then key-frame the crop.

I really hope LumaTouch introduces 'power windows' (a DaVinci Resolve term) at some point.
