Dear Luma Touch team, for your consideration.

One of the layouts in LumaFusion is the Preview and Timeline layout.

When used on the iPhone in landscape for a 16:9 project, the preview appears on the top of the screen and the timeline is on the bottom. This layout can show only 3 tracks and a bit, having to scroll to see the rest, and with a rather small preview. This makes it not particularly practical for iPhone users.

I believe it would be useful for iPhone users, to adopt or add the Preview and Timeline Landscape layout that is used for portrait 6:19 projects, where the timeline is on the left half of the screen, and the preview is on the right half .
This layout would allow showing all 6 tracks of video at once, as well as 2-3 audio tracks.
The preview on this layout would be about double the size.
Also, add to that the UI resizing capabilities that are coming soon in 2.5 as an advantage.

See mock up attached.

Thank you,

MVE

Hi MVE

There are layout changes coming in 2.5 which is due out in the summer (no beta yet)

Good suggestion though, let's see what we get

Thanks.
I'm aware of the UI resizing capabilities coming (I think) in 2.5.
This would make the layout I'm proposing even better.

Seems a good idea but with layout when you make one thing better you make something else worse. Probably it’s really hard to develop too. It’ll be interesting to see if the update helps much in practice.

This layout already exists if you are editing portrait videos. All I’m saying is to use the same layout for landscape videos.
