I have done a quick comparison exporting a 10 minute 4k video on my iPad Air 2020 and my MacBook Air 2020.

I was surprised to find that both performed very similarly since I was expecting the MacBook M1 to be faster.

Is this because the MacBook is running the LumaFusion app built for the iPad, and might we expect a speed increase in the future if a version built for the M1 chipset is released? Or is the CPU in the iPad essentially the same as that in the MacBook?
