LumaFusion 2.0 is now available in the App Store. This is a massive new update that doubles the number of tracks for video and audio, streamlines the user interface, and much more.

In this video, I demonstrate how you can use a single app to drag & drop media from multiple locations, both on your iPad and from your various cloud services, using the free app “Documents”.

This can also be done using IOS's built-in app “Files” but I find that Documents is a much more powerful app as you will discover if you decide to use it.

I hope you find this helpful.

Great tip.
I have been using the Documents app for a long time now. It's very useful.
One note, the way luma fusion import works with apps like documents and the iOs files app, it's not moving those files, its duplicating them in the Luma Fusion user media folder.
If you do what you just did with a bunch of large video files you double them up and quickly run out of space if you don't have an iPad with a large storage capacity.
Just a little something to watch out for.

I struggle with that the "Document" app is crashing, happens when i try to copy a videoclip (exported from LumaFusion) from the Photos album on Ipad to a folder on my NAS drive (Drobo 5n).
Crashes everytime i try to import the file from Photos to my NAS drive folder. It says "preparing" for a while, then chrashes.
The file is about 2,47 GB in size.

Anyone have experienced the same thing?
I just want to get my exported movie from LumaFusion over to my NAS drive.

[UPDATE]: I ended up exporting the movie from LuaFusion to OneDrive, and that worked fine! So i guess i will be using that angle from now on.

I am having the same problem - viz. LumaFusion effectively duplicating data in the iOS Files system. I am using a 512gb iPad Pro. I find AirDrop the best way to shift very large GB video files (Canon 1DX2) from my Mac to iPad. I used to send one file at a time via my Lacie DJI CoPilot BOSS drive via the lightning adapter, but that was slow and tedious. I found that I could not clear the file allocation to that drive even when disconnected, so my 'fix' was to offload the DJI app and then reinstall to regain the space. Again, not ideal. In the early days of using LumaFusion 1.7 I used to do the same with the LF app... again tedious, but the only way to regain space. Now that I use LF2.0 as my main editing software, I have a lot more LUTs and transitions installed, that I don't want to have to reinstall... so this approach is less practical.

Has anyone come up with good work around for regularly clearing iOS Files or Documents, simultaneously with LF2.0 without deleting the apps?
