It would be great if the stabilization data from one clip could be applied to another clip, particularly if the stabilizer also supported a camera-locked mode. The use case for this would be as follows:

1. Apply camera-locked stabilization to a clip with subtle motion such as hand-held footage
2. Apply a composite video above the stabilized clip (something that will appear over the stabilized image)
3. Copy the stabilization data from the stabilized clip and apply it to the composite clip (inverted) so that the composite clip moves as the original clip
4. Disable stabilization on the original clip

Of course there are variations to this theme but being able to essentially match move one video layer to another is of great value.

Camera locked, like those airpods adverts? Cool.

I like your idea. Text that moves with the original camera movement, that kind of thing adds production value.

Also adding a bit of life to a static tripod shot.
