LumaFusion 2.0 is now available in the App Store. This is a massive new update that doubles the number of tracks for video and audio, streamlines the user interface, and much more.

Hi!

I've encountered a sound bug several times on multiple projects that makes it difficult to work in Luma.

Often when adding b-roll in video track 2 or 3 and muting it, there will still be be sound in the first frame or two of the b-roll clip.

I've read about the issue before, but there seems to be no fix.

Anybody encountered this and know how to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

Dohjo

Check your project file. I’ve seen this problem with projects that are in 59.94. Change it to 60fps and the sound is no longer there.
Not sure if that helps, but by your description it sounded similar.

This drives me nuts! It isn’t “often”, it always does this. It’s just that sometimes the audio at the beginning of the clip isn’t loud enough to be noticed.

Whenever I have audio or export issues I use the “Optimize and Consolidate “ function. It usually fixes the issue.

If you are not familiar with the functionality I’d recommend reading about it first. There is a full LumaFusion manual in this forum: https://luma-touch.com/lumafusion-reference-guide/
