Hello all,
I am a long-time user of LumaFusion who just bought a 360fly camera this week.
I am still new to 360° videos, and thought maybe it would be useful if I share some of the gotchas/tips on this forum!
My workflow is to download the 360° videos from the 360fly camera, import them to Photos, and use the clip in LumaFusion before I export them in YouTube. I have been struggling for a few days to find how to preview the videos locally on my iPad before I upload them to YouTube, and I came accross a web site that implement such a player locally:
https://360.yenaaussi.com
The way it works, I can export the movie from LumaFusion to the Files app (using « On my iPad ») or as a movie to Photos, then I select that file from the web page, and I can directly preview it (no data is sent, which is useful on the go, as 360° movie can be large).
I am still in the process of trying to make sense how to add a text overlay that would respect the equirectangular projection, I think Affinity Photos might be able to do it but I haven't been able to find out how as of yet. I will let you know when I find out!
