I'd love to see a plugin architecture developed. Might be an iOS thing though, like audio units and core audio. Maybe with iOS 13 and the new effects Apple will create the API? Also in the same vein, having audio units to use in the audio editor would be quite nice.

Hi Glen

Audio features were present in earlier releases but were removed because they were unreliable

It is a feature that is much requested but not being tested at the moment although the intention is to reimplement and improve audio at some point

(And blending is coming soon)

Sweet! I know the old core audio AU plugins were a pain, but the AUv3 protocol is working out much better. hopefully we'll see that come back.

Still wonder about a similar thing like that for video :D

Actually do you know if they used IAA or AU for it originally? If it was IAA i get why they pulled it.
