Surprisingly this video is made up of only four still images each of which was done in CorelDraw Graphics Suite 12 - about 15 year old software which I’ve still got running on my XP machine LOL! I stretched each of these stills into a video clip and then blended and transitioned them together in LumaFusion. Then I used LF’s stretching function to slide the clips into each other vertically. And I used liberal amounts of re-colorizing or desaturation. Then I exported the resulting video and re-imported it into LF as a new project. This allowed me to rotate the entire video 180 degrees and to apply the Glass effect from LF. The end result is a sensation is of rippling, wavy curves even though the actual imagery is comprised of nothing but colored rectangles.
The soundtrack is a single take of Pianoscaper. After I brought it into LF, I reversed it for a second track. I panned each of these tracks left and right. Then I added a track of GarageBand Planetarium loops for some lyrical movement.
I hope you enjoy watching and listening!
