LumaFusion 1.7 is now available in the App Store. This update includes great new features like search and sort in the library, soft edges and curved corners in cropping, and our new integration with Storyblocks, a great royalty-free library of video, audio and sound effects. A sample of clips are included free, with a low-cost subscription available in-app for access to the full library

Is anybody looking for an IOS local file/folder storage solution where you can store pictures/videos/any other file type in whatever structure you want locally on your IOS device?

I've had my iPad Pro 11" for a few months now and just stumbled upon this app called "Local Storage". I'm in no way affiliated with this app, but I find it extremely useful. I can create any folder structure I like on my iPad and store files (videos/pictures/documents) the way I want them organized. The Files app on IOS does not allow you to create any folders at the root level (only under folders like Lumafusion that get used by other apps). This app basically created a root level folder called "Local Storage" and I can create any folder structure under it that I like. The Files app becomes much more useful with Local Storage installed. I can take videos and pictures out of my camera roll and store them in a folder of my choice. I believe LF can only read from the LF folders though, but you can easily copy files to the LF folder.

One use I've found for this app, is when copying H265 footage from the camera roll to a WD Wireless Pro. The iPad converts these files to h264 and file sizes are reduced significantly if done through the photos app (I have the "Keep Originals" setting set). Instead I can copy these videos to a folder under local storage and use the Files app to move the videos to the hard drive. This keeps the original H265 format and the original file sizes.

Anyway, I thought this was a very useful app and wanted to pass it along to everyone here.

Just had a look.

Seems like a good app brousseb

I'm holding off in the hope that iOS 13 will let us do more with files (I'm not holding my breath though!)
