LumaFusion 1.7 is now available in the App Store. This update includes great new features like search and sort in the library, soft edges and curved corners in cropping, and our new integration with Storyblocks, a great royalty-free library of video, audio and sound effects. A sample of clips are included free, with a low-cost subscription available in-app for access to the full library

Hello mramosch,

Thank you for the video.
Interesting find, what are your views ?

Do you think it is like in the 32 bit days when they went to 64 bit ?
By this I mean from memory a report saying the new pc was faster at opening photoshop.
Then photoshop software was updated to use the G5 64 bit and performance accelerated.

I was surprised to see render times the same in the video.
Once again thank you for the link.

Regards Rob

I’ve just been seeing over the last decade that every time Apple beefs up their processors or batteries they implement so much new stuff in the OS like faster displays, physics engines for their animations, parallax effects on the home screen etc. that probably eats up more of the performance than they actually gain with their updates ;-)

I’m not sure how much is effectively left for 3rd parties or the end user!

The iPad 12.9” from 2017 still stutters when flipping through long list views in the Settings and Photos app despite having a 120Hz display, and the like...

My opinion on a speed boost of Luma 1.7 —>
