I don't post much here but I do listen to a lot of Apple podcasts and have been hearing more and more about Marzipan - the functionality that will allow iOS Apps to be ported easier to the Mac. Guy called Steve Troughton-Smith (@stroughtonsmith) has been posting a lot about it on Twitter.

Makes me think that Luma Touch's "we're submitting 2.0 to App Store End May for hopeful release in early June" is code for "We're part of the Keynote for iOS 13!"

I have no proof, but if so - Well done Luma Touch! I'll be watching live and looking do download that afternoon!

The addition of LumaTouch to MacOS would be very cool. Is there any MacOS equivalent currently available with similar price point?

There's the odd free one which are generally 'time out' demos or missing features

There's also iMovie

But from what I read in reviews etc the iPad/iPhone pretty much beats them all in terms of 4k handling. Admittedly LF is often not as feature rich ... yet. Most of the competition has been going for a few years

First time posting, I think;
I'm sitting here with my iPadPro 11", and my 2012 Mac mini, working on a training video.
I love using LumaFusion on my iPadPro, but work flow wise, I bounce between my Mac, and iPadPro.
As part of my workflow, I use Keynote as a story board, for planning out my training videos.
I think export the slides, and import them into LumaFusion.
Due to the non-parallel feature sets between Mac Keynote, and iOS Keynote, I prefer Keynote on MacOS.

So from my workflow perspective, being able to use Lumafusion on both iPad, and Mac offers me at least, several advantages.
On the Mac, I could take advantage of great monitor realestate, and more robust multi-tasking.
I can then continue on my iPad, which admittedly IS my primary device, the Mac mini is my secondary, how times change!

Having said all that, I don't know what the resource impact is for LumaTouch, but I do wonder what your thoughts are on the pro's and con's of having Lumafusion on both iOS, and MacOS?
