Is there a way to select multiple clips so you can move them together on the timeline?

No unfortunately. This has been requested often though and hopefully will be implemented sometime.
If the clips are pretty much in a finished state you could export everything, reimport that into the project and trim to the bits you need.
Otherwise it’s a case of moving every clip one at a time.
