I recently looked into incorporating 3D titles created by an intro maker app called T-JAM, into LumaFusion.
The idea is simple; create titles and animations with a green background, and then, in LumaFusion remove the background using Chroma Key and further modify and enhance the results.
Along the way I found other useful usages that come to life when you combine the 2 apps.
For example, besides the out-of-the-box 3D animated titles, you can create text zoom in transitions and slideshows that move the pictures in a 3D environment.
The app supports pictures with transparent backgrounds, that once combined with Chroma Key opens some interesting possibilities. For example, I can now rotate and spin the logo of my channel in a 3D space.
Here is a link to a tutorial that I created about this topic:
The video starts by showing how to create an animation in T-JAM that can be used in LumaFusion.
From 3:55 to the end , the video covers the workflow in LumaFusion and shows the implementation of text zoom in transitions and slideshows.
