LumaFusion 2.0 is now available in the App Store. This is a massive new update that doubles the number of tracks for video and audio, streamlines the user interface, and much more.

So, I’ve got a music video project where I need to slice up one video into a bunch of clips and reuse them often (syncing them to the beat of the audio track) but on the same timeline. I’m confused as to the best way to manage sliced up clips for this purpose. I don’t see how it’s possible to save sliced clips for later use on the same timeline.

Any ideas or techniques would be appreciated.

Thanks

ES

You could clone the segments to and from a (hopefully) spare track. If you put them on an audio track they’ll still be video if you put them back on a video track. Sometimes I collect clones at the end of the timeline because they are easier to identify on a video track.
The next version of LumaFusion should have markers but sometimes I cut the main track at the beats as a workaround.

Must be because I’m in Scotland right now Dave, bit closer than NZ. Not perhaps the warmest place but have made some great videos.
