LumaFusion 2.0 is now available in the App Store. This is a massive new update that doubles the number of tracks for video and audio, streamlines the user interface, and much more.

Hello,

I got a Sandisk Connect wifi usb stick and would like to use it to backup/store my lumafusion projects. Now, I realize that this particular model of drive is not supported inside the app (yet), so I would like to know which directories/files make up each project, so I can manually backup and restore them to/from my Sandisk Connect drive.

Thanks

Hi esp24u

Welcome to the forum.

If you're doing it manually, you can copy all the directories.
Some may be empty depending on your projects
If you look with the 'files' app under 'On My iThing' you will see a LumaFusion directory. This contains everything

If you export a 'Project Archive' to the 'Rendered Movies Folder' then a single file for that project will be created in the LumaFusion/UserMedia/RenderedMovies folder

Hope that helps

So then a good workflow for me (to offload projects from my device ) would be to work on the project on my iphone/ or ipad. When done the project, archive the project to the rendered movie folder, copy that archived project file onto my external drive, then delete the lumafusion directory on the phone or ipad. Later, if I need to work on the project again, just copy that archive file from ext drive into rendered projects and restore that archived file in lumafusion?

Thanks for your help!

Yes, that's the simplest way
