LumaFusion 1.7 is now available in the App Store. This update includes great new features like search and sort in the library, soft edges and curved corners in cropping, and our new integration with Storyblocks, a great royalty-free library of video, audio and sound effects. A sample of clips are included free, with a low-cost subscription available in-app for access to the full library

Hello,

I'm new to Lumafusion and therefore not very experienced. When opening a location that contains video and image files it shows all media in this folder. How can I only display media of a particular type and keep the chronological order?

Hi mcdorians

When you go to Sources and then Photos then Albums

You should see:

All Photos = all photos
Selfies = all selfies
Panoramas = all panoramas
Videos = all videos
Slo-mo = all slo motion videos
Screenshots = all screenshots
Recently Added = recently added media

Then you will see albums you have created such as Shared

You can then search, select or drag items to your timeline

Does that help?

Thanks for the awnser. yes that did help. but I can't do this with other sources than the ios photos, right? e.g. the WD wireless pro drive.

What i've figured out is sorting by resolution groups the media almost by type as a side effect. Assuming that your cam does take images at a higher resolution than your vids.

If you have your stuff on your drive/nas in directories - it will show directories

You then have further 'field' options

Title
Created Date
Modified Date
Size
Duration
Resolution
Frame Rate
Frame Aspect
Sample Rate

(so kind of 'a bit yes and a bit no')
