Could it be possible to add grid lines to the viewer when editing so that reference points can be made when doing something like a dolly zoom effect?

I'm not entirely sure what you are doing but here’s a possible work around to add a grid over the top of a video clip. Refer to the screenshot below.

I added a photo of a grid above the primary track and then removed the background with the blue screen key under the Color & Effects editor.

Thanks for the solution. I would like to use the grid lines as a reference point when doing edits like dolly zoom to keep my subject in the same spot
