Ive always done a few videos bits and pieces, just recently I’ve been tempted to put a few samples online of work but also tips and tricks.
Who knew talking on camera could be so hard, even harder because I’m dyslexic, I know what i want to say, then get all tongue tied and frustrated whe it comes out wrong, resulting in more out takes than usable content. So I’ve started breaking down my ideas into a list, do a bit, pause, do a bit more.
Makes the edit a bit hard but at least i get my content out there.
I just with i could overlay .gifs!! For intros and animations.
Anyway, what do you guys think? There’s other videos on my Chanel
Good job! I’m thinking that being dyslexic is maybe an advantage for speaking fluidly. By comparison reading a script is hard to pull off without sounding scripted!
Maybe a cut away shot of some sort could sometimes be used to cover the transition between takes.
It’s so hard, I’ve just done this one on not needing the best gear, I just had a list and kept going, pausing when I was going back on myself, then chopping it down in the edit.
