Osmo pocket,

Some questions to people with Osmo pocket please.

1: How can you bring video in to an iPad Pro the footage shoot in slow mo ?
Without the need to buy extra adapters.

2: Shooting between Session 4 Go pro and Osmo pocket, I see that the Osmo pocket focus's upon the behind areas, very much so when I make a 180 focus on me, colours washed out.

Firmware up to date, any ideas how to improve ?

Regards Rob

Maybe IOS does stand for idiots operating system, at times I dislike the IOS side.

It reminds me of Brexit and undecided uncertain cannot see a future.

End of the day I am disinterested in any adapters I just wish the products work.

Am I asking too much ?

Thank you Dave,

I do hope so, the knights Templar has a bad iOS 13 day, here’s hoping iOS tablets will improve.
So frustrating at times, LumaFusion picked up the ball in mobile editing.

Where as it feels and maybe just me, iOS is going out of its way to be the tablet that says no !

Maybe if I buy an adapter it sort everything out :)

I probably make a video to show explain the idea I have.
Basic ABC is I plugged the osmo pocket into the USB port at the rear of WD my cloud.

Interfaces through WD app and dragged video off camera into the my cloud WD.

Now I can wifi files into IOS without IOS getting into a tizzy busy issues, your need an adapter son.

It works and for now I am leaving the cable that came with the osmo pocket in the back of the WD my cloud.

Also appears to charge unit as well.
Upside no adapters were used in the making of this episode.

Regards Rob

Hi Stride,

Are your referring to I need to install their software in order to bring in 59 frames slow mo video ?
Screen grab up top shows the error in red.
IOS for some reason cannot do.

Ironically go pro at 100 frames no issues.

The app installed, but again lack of attention to details see screen grab hard to read or work with.
Plus you have to remove the case each time.
Factor in the case and wheel do not fit, my first impression of os mo are dwelling rapidly at £400 with a battery cycle of estimated 400 charges and no replacement.

Next purchase is proper camera with lens, even has a lens cap.
Carry spare battery shoot in 4 K.
Has thread built in for tripod.

The gimbal was a gamble, it work for my work purposes.
Anyone else if you like gimmicks it fit the bill.
Probably your phone in your pocket just use that loads easier.
Factor in 240 frames recording on many phones, apps can be installed on phones.
