Thought I’d try out a few things at the local rugby match. Half filmed with iPhone 4K and half with long zoom on my old camera. It wasn’t designed for video stability so I ported all the shots through DeShake which does a good job of stabilising. Used a shortcut for this but DeShake isn’t automation friendly. Made the video by replacing clips in a template I have made in LumaFusion which has 2 sec clips with a subtle zoom in. Used the beginning and end of the music with a join in the middle. Tricky but can usually be achieved fairly unobtrusively.

Hi Mark,

Your template is this something you have in the LumaFusion and drop in projects to edit ?
Is it like a preset and replace video?
Interested to know more please.

Why did you also choose the footage as it was probably the hardest to work with, good job reducing the shaking effects.

Regards Rob

Yes it’s just a dummy project that fills up 1.5 minutes with 2sec clips. There are also transitions but I’m going to take those out. Unfortunately when you move a clip you lose the transition. The clips also have a subtle zoom in effect which I like although you have to be careful not to change the clip length later - LumaFusion can’t cope with that.

The footage was just random tries with different cameras
