I recently discovered a new app - Whorl. It makes the coolest organic/geometric videos. I used LumaFusion to juice up the color with saturation and gamma effects. And sometimes to make it black and white. Sometimes sliding the Contrast and Saturation controls completely changed the color scheme - I’m still trying to figure that out. I also used Mirror and Big effects and a subtle zooming effect throughout.
In the YT video description I go into a riff about carbon vs. silicon lifeforms; organic vs. geometric forms; and how the pop music in Turkmenistan sounds an awful lot like Taylor Swift when one closes your eyes to get beyond artificial nationalistic and cultural stereotypes. To this end, the audio track consists exclusively of GarageBand loops and combines Middle East, Asian, techno, synth, and pop loops. It’s amazing how well these seemingly disparate loops sound together!
I hope you enjoy watching and listening!
