Hi all,

Here's a little vid of a hidden bar and restaurant in Chinatown, Bangkok.

It was shot on an iPhone 6 and Mavic Spark Drone, and edited in LumaFusion on the iPad Pro.

I love using this app and all the creative options it offers. I'm now just waiting for speed ramping and masking features to allow for more modern transitions : )

Hope you all like the vid!

Thanks, knobbydave. I've set myself the goal of trying to improve with every video. All tips/tricks/feedback/criticism thoroughly welcome.

Cheers,

Shall we call you Adam "Neistat". I hope you get the reference - it is a compliment.

I would love to know more about how you did the slo-mo stuff.

Haha! Thanks for the compliment, but I've got a long way to go before I reach the Neistat level of skill. I will get there one day though! : )

For the slow mo, I used FilmicPro on my iPhone and shot the footage at 60 fps. When editing in Lumafusion, on a 24 fps timeline, I slowed the footage by 40% to ensure it played back nice and smooth.

(I ran the footage through a stabilizer app called 'DeShake' prior to editing which helped too).

I'm hoping to upgrade my phone soon so I can shoot 120 fps footage for even more buttery slow mo segments. Can't wait!

Hope this helps!

Haha! Sorry about that : )

Here's some more delicious Thai food for you to feast your eyes on – and it's one of the quirkiest restaurants in town!
