Hi again,

Here's a short documentary I edited with LumaFusion on my iPad Pro 10". It's about what happened at the race when my wife trained long and hard for a 10k swim. I created the credits in Luma Fusion, but I elected to do the subtitles for the Swedish sections in Premiere with SugarFX Subtitle.

Even if I'd done the subtitling in Luma, I would have still had to run it through Premiere at the end in order to check that the video was within broadcast standards (it wasn't). And although I suspected it, I couldn't actually see that in LumaFusion since it lacks "scopes". Some scopes would be terribly helpful, even it it weren't in real time -- just sort of a spot checker would be great.

I had issues with my transitions coming loose and moving around, and sometimes the volume levels for clips didn't stay set. If someone from LumaFusion would like to examine my project (is there even a way?) I'd be happy to share my experiences.

Anyway, it was a nice way to edit this film at my summer cabin, away from my workstation.

Hi Andrew

Nice video. I enjoyed watching it. 20k next time maybe?

There is a new release soon which should fix the transition problems (hopefully)

Scopes ... they are on the 'to do' list but we are not testing them yet

Thanks for watching the video.

And also, thanks for the update on scopes. I know it’s not that sexy, but correcting without an RGB parade and vectorscope is like open-water swimming in Sweden without a wetsuit. It’s possible, but not comfortable.
