Ahh! America needs more British culture! Didn’t know anything about the Clangers but researching it just now I was amused to read that the BBC told the show’s producers that the character couldn’t say “Sod it.” But the producers said, “It’s OK. No one will know because they’re going to whistle it!” I imagine “sod it” means the “f” word over here LOL! Because like what other expletive would fit in that two word phrase?!

Here’s a Wikipedia link about the Beatles’ “Savoy Truffle” which talks about Mackintosh being a source for much of the lyrics in Harrison’s song. America could use a Mackintosh store or two about now! We’re stockpiling toilet paper and ammo - I guess folks will shoot you if you steal their toilet paper.
