Hi all,
This is something I’ve been trying to figure out since I got my iPad and I’m still unsure, what is the best workflow when setting up a project in LumaFusion? Let me explain a little more.
Here’s what I’m currently doing;
Copying 100gb footage via USB to my iPads storage
Importing what I need of it directly in to LumaFusion
The problem is that now iCloud is trying to back up this 100gb stored in the category “On My iPad” which I don’t want to do. You’re also seemingly unable to stop it backing up anything under “on my iPad.”
The second issue is that now I’ve imported the footage LumaFusion is showing its 65gb which I also don’t want to backup. I can disable LumaFusion easily in iCloud Drive which I have done.
My questions are -
1. Is it possible to link to footage without importing it and therefore LumaFusion can backup much smaller file sizes instead of including all the huge video files?
2. Does anyone know a workaround to prevent the iPad from backing up files in local storage?
Hopefully I explained that well enough, thanks for your time.
Max
