For IOS users, LumaFusion users, here’s a find what maybe of use to you when using slow mo recording when using the osmo.

Use the osmo app to transfer video to iOS camera roll.

Ps to find this on iPad right pain that’s osmo side.
Also your have to remove the tablet case each time.

Video now in photo app and appears in LumaFusion when I have recorded at 59 frames using osmo.

Hi Tripstrilles,

Can you share an image please of cable.
I am on iPad Pro first generation.

As far as I know the USB adapter in the box and is usb and c ports where are you plugging the usb part please ?

Regards Rob
Sorry, I am little late with my answer. It is only possible with iPad Pro 2018 and usb-c to usb-c cable.
Another way is to connect the Osmo usb-c to usb 2 cable to Mac and click onto ok at the Osmo display for a PC connection. Then you find a new drive in finder and you can store all files to Mac or to icloud drive. From icloud drive there is no problem to import all files (also 4k 60 fps) into LumaFusion.

I contacted the developers and this was their response

'This is something we're aware of, the way it's encoded by DJI just makes it less smooth in decoding/scrubbing. It isn't fixed in the latest iOS 13 yet. My guess is that at some point Apple might optimize for DJI's codec (or DJI will fix their encoding to have more keyframes for scrubbing). For now best option is optimize (we may also work on auto-optimizing on import if we can reliably detect this media)'

Thank you Tripstrilles and Dave,

Interesting response you had Dave.
They had me as a Guinea pig running on a wheel for a week.
Nothing worked.

In the end I worked out the app they provide, allows, open file save to app photos.
Now I can import to LumaFusion- LF shows 29frames in slow mo.
I have not tried 59 frames.

Thank you Tripstrilles for explaining the cable idea more clear now.

Uk upload gigs to the iCloud takes forever, out of interest are you in USA with good upload speeds ?
Average osmo shoot 9 gigs

Germany, upload 50 Mbit, but icloud drive is slow.
USB-C cable to iPad Pro 2018 is much more quicker.
My last footage was about 2 hours in 1080p, was splitted into 12 parts, together 60 GB.
Download into photo app 1 hour or little more. But you must wait and have patience.

Thank you Rainer

Intro helps, uk speeds slow to upload, virgin quote 108 download, upload 6 megs for some people.

That’s the best I seen, here best 1 meg.
Your upload speed really shows uk so far behind, it is embarrassing, similar to brexit descion.

Here’s a osmo plugged into usb 3 speed port of iPad Pro 12 inch gen 1.

USB 3.0 (also known as SuperSpeed USB) has a maximum bandwidth rate of 5 gbps (gigabits per second). That translates to 640 MBps (megabytes per second)—ten times faster than USB 2.0 (aka Hi-Speed USB).
