I have not seen this for a while and wonder how to get around this ?
In osmo world you can select .mov or .mpeg

I have ran this directly into WD drive and wifi over to iPad iOS world using the WD app.

And yes it’s judder jerky more than a headless chicken.

Calling upon Mark in NZ and the other dude in Netherlands to advise.

Plus anyone else with a osmo pocket filming in slow mo plus 60 frames using LumaFusion.
Please try and add thank you.

Regards Rob

Good thanks Rob. I’m making a video almost every day. Takes me up to two hours for max 1-2 minute video with maybe 50 clips. I’ve tried to automate this process as much as possible, using a template project and I even tried a workflow to pre sort clips in a Photos app album ( Custom albums in Photos can be manually sorted by drag and drop). LumaFusion doesn’t recognise Photos album manual sorting so I wrote a Shortcut to import them in order. Works OK but not worth the bother unless your shooting order was very mixed up. Sometimes it is, because you go back to a place you were at earlier.
Can be a bit stressful so I try not to worry about little details. I do wish LumaFusion had more automation. Things like multiple pasting of effects, an initial default for clip length (and I’d prefer to insert the end of the source clip, not the beginning).
Ha ha. Video is so much harder than still photography and that’s why I love it! Sorry to rave!

Ps Mark,

With these videos from osmo pocket in slow mo, just had a thought.
I am unable to get these video’s into iOS iPad Pro.
I did use SD card reader plug into the lighting port no joy.
Ended up plugging the osmo into the back of the USB port on the WD my cloud.

So I will not be able to run them through app short cuts.
I have read so many forums on the subject now I’m confused easily done.
How did you Mark, bring your osmo videos “slow mo” in to iPad ? Please I hope no adapters.

Regards Rob
Amendment

Ps just read through your pages you have y (I have an Adata reader)

Yes I’ve only used the AData card reader. I never did slow mo on the Pocket but did do 4K.

Just btw I brought the AData with me to Scotland to transfer clips from phone to iPad. It’s faster than Airdrop and certainly faster than iCloud synch. But I can’t use it because every now and then the card needs formatting. Deleting clips doesn’t seem to clear it properly and it starts running very slowly. I used to format it with the Pocket and apparently you can’t format an SD card with iOS. Sigh.

Osmo Pocket to iPad Pro 2018 is no problem. Connect the usb charching cable from Osmo to iPad and switch on Osmo Pocket. You will be asked to connect Osmo Pocket to PC. Click OK and you can import every type of footage to iPad Pro.

Rainer

Or - the same procedure with PC or Mac, then storing to icloud drive or NAS. Then import to LF.
