i hope this will change in ios 13...we cant afford ipads with so much space!
Why did you changed it ?
I prefer to work with files from the location they are in the first place...i hope you can change this in ios 13.

That’s just it - if the file is in the same place as it was/is originally then everything works fine

Move a file, rename a file, restore a file and it can’t be found

Apple assigns internal file names that do not remain the same

All,

In a previous post I wrote that if you delete the project, and all its backups , videos added to the project, are not deleted from the PhotoLibrary folder.

I found that clicking on Cleanup Unused Cached Media and selecting Photos will delete those remaining files.

It didn’t seem to be a problem for me before, that is files being moved by iOS.

It seems to me that there should be an option in the preferences.

Leave, move, or copy. It could default to copy.
