I have created a movie, including pictures, video clips, and sounds. I have done quite a lot, and though I was relatively knowledgable now.

However I haven’t done a creation for a while now. When I have recently tried to save one to my iPad library, I get the message attached.

I have tried clipping the end to make sure they all end at the same point, that’s video and sounds, but still not worked.

Any inspiration gratefully received.

Hi Jaybee

.. er ... dunno

I'm guessing you've checked all this but:

Is there any 'missing media' shown by hash lines on the clip in the timeline?

Is there anything different to your previous projects - maybe bitrates etc?

Have you used something different to capture your images?

The next thing I would do to try and isolate the problem is:

Duplicate the project
Working with the duplicate
Delete the first clip
Try exporting the project
If it fails, it's not that clip so use the 'back' button to re add it
Delete the next clip
etc

Hello Jaybee,

What Dave says covers most of what to do (duplicate project first)

What I have done to get around this in the past is.

1: Archive project export to laptop (Mac) then re import to IOS iPad.

(This worked)

2: Duplicated the projected, deleted one section at a time and exported until I found the corrupt file, this in the past was often to do with me speeding up and down video's - I think LF now past this as of 2019.

You may of course have found a new bug and you can send the actual file to Androu in LF and team will find the issue and resolve.

3: I am happy to do this if it helps and identify the problem, ( you have to use achieve project and save all files and upload to drop box account which I can provide.

4: One thought is ( I am not at the iPad now and on laptop) when I export to the iPad library I cannot remember the error message re upload, may I just check that you are exporting to the current iPad and not to say cloud or external drive please ?

Space on the iPad available also?

Oh you could if you know how to ? inspect the file of each video and audio within LF and check its compatibility.

Regards Rob
