Hi Mark,

Scotland a long way from home in NZ.
Which part are you currently staying in Scotland?
I used to live in Beauly just out side Inverness.

Your 600 miles away from Brighton approximately but if your down this way let me know, I show you around.

Ps I bought a Osmo today, used the iPad Pro as it appears I do have to connect the Osmo to something before you can use it.

For anyone reading something to think about, no phone no tablets, me thinks maybe a desktop maybe get around this.

Un like say go pro session one button record and go.

Good point Mark, phone camera and record.

Regards Rob

Thanks Rob. Think we went through Beauly on the way from Inverness to near Torriden At the moment we are around Crieff and slowly making our way down south. Not as far as Brighton sadly. Enjoy the Osmo. Sorry i can’t offer any advice on it at the moment

Thank you Rpgvoyage,

Shame the Apple SD card reader could not do this, wasted money their, I bought an adapter to update the Apple adapter to make it work.
But the Apple adapter says I need a updated adapter to make the adapter work.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge Rpgvoyage, I did not know the 60 frames did not transfer in iOS - not sure with the session go pro I use.

Mainly 720 p at 30 frames is what I use.
With import SD Apple Card.
Um um really feeling the pips from the Apple core last few days.

Regards Rob

I just got the Osmo pocket last week. I’m surprised at how much I like it. I also got the PGYTECH Osmo Pocket Phone Holder Plus to make it easier to use with a phone. I highly recommend it.

I’ve been using it with an iPod Touch instead of my phone. I use the same one for my drone as well.

Just the 64GB Touch. I believe it’s the latest model. The one issue I’ve run into is that I can’t download some of the video clips to the Touch. I wanted to do this to airdrop them to my iPad Pro for editing.

You can transfer files wired or wirelessly to the 2018 iPad Pro from an osmo pocket.

Regarding OP. . . I was pretty much onboard until you said, “ Cancel my request for stabilising in LumaFusion!” Then I cried. Long slobbery tears. The kind that leaves your chest heaving and you out of breath.

godanglego,

What transfer speed do you have with wirelessly - between os mo and iPad Pro 2018 ?

This is wired IPP to osmo, I’m not impressed with the wired speed.
Rather disappointed.
