Post subject:  Buying new iPad Pro and wondering about which memory to get

Quick question: Buying new iPad Pro and wanting to know if, for working in Luma Fusion, should I go ahead and get the 512GB memory model over 256GB? Concerned about the ram requirements needed by Luma Fusion to run smoothly. The 1TB seems like over kill. Will mostly edit smaller 15 to 20 minute YouTube type videos. Some in 4K most in 1080.
Thanks for your input.

Thomas

Hi Thomas

The best one is ‘the one that you want’

Mine is a 256 and I use it to edit 4K drone videos. I usually use 2 video tracks, 1 title tracks and 2 audio tracks

The rest of the time it’s 1080p family videos

Generally 10 - 20 minutes in length

Hello Thomas,

Like Dave says the one that suits you is the best one for you.

Here’s some ideas and a spanner in the works.

1: When you asked apple about the 6 Gigs what did they answer ?

I asked and their eye lids closed in the shop, they pressed their ear piece like in the matrix and said a quote.

Information does not compute.

2: I doubt any apps have worked to use the extra ram as they need a phone for the app with specs of ... and other version or code to activate the extra ram, when using say the iPad Pro.

Please tell me I am wrong, I like to be able to use the extra RAM.

Personally I buy the 256 gigs, why I am always at a loss with file structure in IOS and backing up to wifi drives is slow.

Can be easy to lose data on an iPad.

In other words the 1 TB your simply just lose contents within the huge drive.
Word has it the other 2 gigs is just their to run the file system once the 1TB becomes 50 % full.

Regards Rob
