Has anybody imported audio to garage band from LumaFusion?
If so how please.

I have an audio voice over, that I have made in LumaFusion and then export audio share with.
No garage band here.

Uploaded to file to the cloud gone to file in cloud share with, no garage band here.

Any ideas welcome, provided you have tried your self please.

Ps not wishing to involve a lap top and iTunes at this stage all has to be done in IOS
Have saved under the two options in LumaFusion and tried the above methods.

Regards Rob

If you share audio file to gb it can be loaded into a track from the screen that shows all the tracks
You have to add a loop
The latest version will show tabs for apple loops files and iTunes
Select files
Drag file icon for your audio file

The only other way I’ve gotten it to work is to share it to
other app that supports audio share. I share it from Lumafusion to
GliderVerb then you can open the file as the sample inside gliderverb and
Run gliderverb as instrument in GarageBand or export it into audio copy option inside gliderverb and then it’s in the clipboard and you can just Paste it to a track gb

Thank you for the update information, share option it appears is not available in Garage band.
I try some methods and see what I can come up with.
If I find anything useful I post.

All I did was record my voice in LumaFusion and then wished to share with garage band to alter some aspects.

I would not have thought this to be this complicated, but it is IOS

Hi Rob

I think this might be the wrong way round for you but try this (I did it on my phone)

Open GarageBand
Tap Create Document (Blue +)
Tap Tracks at top if not already selected
Scroll left/right to Audio Recorder and tap it
You can now record audio
If you tap on the 'down arrow' in the top left you will get a drop down menu
Tap on Clean if you want and you will see a selection of audio presets
If you do not want this, Tap on the little mixer icon 4th from top left and you can change the audio settings yourself (too many to describe here)
Record your audio by tapping the red circle (record button)
You will see your file under GarageBand Recents
Tap and hold that file in GarageBand and a ribbon menu will pop up
Tap Share
Tap the first icon on the left Song
Choose the quality
Tap Share top right in blue
Tap Open in LumaFusion

You've just imported the file !!!

Phew - sometimes IOS is so hard

Hello Dave,

Thank you for taking the time to post the reply.
I got lost, I think I had to face north during part of the procedure, I read this on another IOS forum.
Works better if standing on one leg, preferable the left leg.

Only kidding of course, I stood on the right leg.

No seriously I not had time to try your idea, I can see in my head how it would work and I will give this a go.
And send my report back.

What I have been doing is knocking out videos on apps how to use etc and screen recording the iPad and then drop in to lumafusion. (Hence wishing to bring in the audio only to Garage band and improve sound)

As we all know anything longer than 4 mins worth of video IOS screen recording with audio.
Once uploaded to the Youtube will result in no audio, a feature youtube and IOS have to talk together.

I built youtube and IOS a bridge but at the moment they just using myself as piggy in the middle for communications.

Regards Rob
