LumaFusion 1.7 is now available in the App Store. This update includes great new features like search and sort in the library, soft edges and curved corners in cropping, and our new integration with Storyblocks, a great royalty-free library of video, audio and sound effects. A sample of clips are included free, with a low-cost subscription available in-app for access to the full library

Hi,

Just wondering... is there a way to have two video tracks and one of the track’s luminosity be adjusted so it appears as an overlay to the main video track?

I have a film (shot on video) I shot in B&W and I have a short clip of old film dust and scratches that I’d like to overlay to the main video track so it appears the film is “old”.

Thanks and absolutely LOVE this app!

Hi Mike

Yep

Put your main video on track 1
Put your ‘scratches’ video on track 2
(You won’t see track 1 now)
Tap track 2 to select it
Tap ‘Color&Effects’ at the bottom
Tap the ‘Chroma Keys’ icon (the keyhole) top right
Tap on a key, say the blue one
Crank the Hue Range up
You should now see track 1 again showing through track 2
