Hello Stefan,

Here is some maybe useful information which may be of some use to you and others.
Oh first, thank you for answering the questions about WD.

Re,

File browser can do the following which my WD mycloud app cannot (your WD drive Stefan does, which is very odd, as it is the same WD app)

File browser supports RAF files of my camera in preview. WD mycloud no preview.
File browser might support PSD I would need to check.

File browser more of a watch stream contents like the app for WD.

Worth noting that if you cannot preview at the other end, your downloading something which you do not know what it is. Generally that is how I work with WD app for some contents.

Example Nepal folder on my external hard drive 1659 stock images all in RAW format.
Desktop I flip through with Lightroom, IOS no go at best I can see images in file browser.
Looking one at a time.

However here is some information have a read, the video link shows him skimming through like Lightroom. Jpegs I would suspect.

Link one data facts.

Link two visual walk through.

To date my working knowledge is know one has made a fast LAN for tablet environments.
IOS may be fast with WAN and not LAN, or just not with Tablets.

Anyone with the knowledge please let us know.

So to download from cloud environment faster than local area networks in the home.

Regards Rob
