Right now you are still using an external WiFi router/hotspot (4CE6765956...)

So tap on WiFi and disconnect the current connection - but do NOT switch WiFi off - just disconnect all your devices from any WiFi Router or hotspot.

With WiFi on (but not connected to any router) on both your devices (source and target) they will create their own personal hotspot for communication. Bluetooth of course stays ON too...

Also try to disconnect your Pencil from Bluetooth to start your equation with a clean slate.

Yep already did all of the suggested except the pen, the previous image was in a station and not connected to anyone, just wifi on.

Bluetooth super slow.

Thank you for the input and ideas.

Just disconnected pen and also restarted iPhone.

Transfer now back to what it was before.

What a marathon :) but thank you everyone for advise.

I’m suspecting Apple will say your need a £1,000 phone as iPhone 5 out of date.

Regards Rob

But your screenshot says that you are connected to something. It should read ‘not connected’ while still being switched on.

When you are saying your ‘transfer is back to what it was before’ - do you actually mean to the ‘slow transfer’ or back to normal, the usual speed, you always had before iOS 12?

I am referring to the image on

<https://forums.luma-touch.com/viewtopic ... e&start=10>

Since I restarted the phone I think this has fixed the issues of slow transferring files with airdrop.
