In iOS 11 while in photo app, uploading videos from here to YouTube is my method.

In iOS 12 this option gone, looked on phone iOS 10, it’s their, am I imagining or do others have the same problem in iOS 12 ?

You’re right. Below is a screenshot from my wife's IOS11 iPad. The YouTube option is there.

I guess I didn’t miss it because I export to YouTube directly from LumaFusion. And any other videos in the Photos app can be quickly brought into LumaFusion and then exported to YouTube.

Regards,
CappyLee

Thank you for your comment Cappy,

I have a question which you might be able to answer please.
While uploading video to say YouTube and using LumaFusion to do so.

Can you go to other apps and still continue to use your iPad ?

Regards Rob

I just tried it. I got this error message when I opened another app.

See my next post for a solution.

Here’s something that will work. You can use the IOS multitasking feature and use your other apps in a split screen. In my example below, I am checking my email.

Just keep LumaFusion on one side while you are exporting your video.

Hope this helps.

Many thanks Cappy,

It does actually help a lot, so thank you for testing and taking the time to share the knowledge, I only used the method photo app to YouTube.
Often airdrop to phone and upload from photo app, so as not to tie up the iPad.

But now here’s a newer method, I give it a whirl and see if perhaps the transfer quicker.

Regards Rob

Upload Works from LumaFusion to YouTube,

however I opened by drag up app from dock method.
Snapseed And Affinity Photo, these cancel out uploading procedure of video to YouTube from LumaFusion.

Reverted to airdrop to older iPhone and upload from photo app to YouTube.
If theirs a work around or any other apps that cancel upload let me know please.

I did find if I went back to LumaFusion, it would restart the present upload, but not from where it left of.mit did this automatically.

LumaFusion would treat the upload or YouTube treated the upload as a new video upload.

Regards Rob

The reason that Affinity Photo crashes LumaFusion is that Affinity Photo is not compatible with IOS Multitasking. It can’t be opened in a split screen with LumaFusion. I'm not familiar with Snapseed but I suspect it isn’t compatible either.

Any app that is compatible and can be opened in split screen should work fine. The screenshot shows LumaFusion and Safari in split screen.

Let me how you do.

Regards,
CappyLee

CLARIFICATION: Affinity Photo does not “crash” LumaFusion. Poor choice of a word on my part. See my next post for complete explanation.
