...then movies don’t look as smooth as if filmed with 1/50 of a second. Any smart way of making it look better? Any export settings for some kind of optical flow?

Hello jhtomassen,

Currently LumaFusion does not offer Optical Flow-like features. But it is something that has been requested and our developers are aware of the need. We currently don't have a firm date for when this feature will be available.

Sounds nice! Hope you manage to make it as soon as possible. Guess every mobile user without shutter speed contro, and everybody without a ND-felter would love it!

From your last comment, I suspect you know this, but in case you don't, many apps (I'm thinking of Filmic Pro, at the moment, but others can do the same) allow you to lock your shutter speed. I typically lock the shutter speed to 1/48 of a second when shooting, and as you mentioned, sometimes that means I'll need to use a neutral density filter. I have a variable ND that I use to get in the general area of proper exposure, then use Filmic's excellent zebra overlay to fine-tune the exposure when shooting. While the shutter speed is locked, this fine-tuning seems to be adjusting the iPhone's ISO -- it's not the same as adjusting the aperture on a traditional camera. But it gets the job done!

If it was something I really wish would come soon is some kind of optical flow filter. Too short shutter speed is absolutely challenging, and it is not always that a ND filter is available. Anyone who knows if or when this option will be available in Luma Fusion?

Ok, but as long as you are working on it, there is hope :)
