Hi Richard,

Which mic is it your referring to as the link takes you to a page with a list of mics to choose from.

If it helps any i choose a £20 boya mic which plugs into the head phone jack.
I had ruled out any mics like this as quality would be too poor.

However the local business near me uses a boya mic which they use when recording a person sitting in front of the green screen while recording on a phone.

He showed me the video he recently made and i was taken away with the quality of the audio.

The man explained as the boya has a 20 feet of cable it allows him to place the camera on tripod and sit up to 15 feet with the mic clipped on and give interviews.

Other mics I had looked at in the £150 price range had some draw backs, example would be the apple mic £98 in Uk sold by apple.

Would not fit into the ipad when it has an apple case on.

Hope that helps ?
Regards Rob
