Hello

I have a little problem with Luma Fusion. I have a Project almost finished. But now i‘ve changed the path were the files are saved. Now actually Luma Fusion can‘t find my files anymore. And i don‘t know the old location of the Files, so i can’t move them back to the old location.
Is there a way to find out the old Location from the files used in the project.

I hope you guys understand what i mean.

Thanks for your help

With the files showing in the browser in their new location, drag a file, one by one, onto the appropriate placeholder in the timeline. Choose the replace option when asked. The in and out points should be correct. This should not be too difficult as the file names are obvious. Perhaps time consuming, though.

Ideas anyone?

Thanks for your help!

Hello,

The files are on a NAS ?

Did you try to open a back-up file ?(spryzip = zip, then spryarchive with notepad++ for example)
You may find useful informations in the spryarchive file.

No, notepad++ is a windows app.

It's just a text editor. You can use any text editor on the ipad instead.

1. Rename .spryzip to .zip
2. extract the zip
3. Rename the spryarchive to .txt
4. Read the text and search if there is a folder name, somewhere...

Bonus question : when you imported the files to lumafusion, what was the source app ? You did you make the import ?

Edit : isn't your old folder in the recently deleted items, in Files app ?

Edit 2 : folder name should contain "UserMedia"

Thanks for your help... i could open the txt file but didn’t found useful information.

I imported the clips either from my cameraroll or from the LumaFusion UserMedia Folder in Files. I also tried to copy the files back to my Cameraroll but they still don’t show up in my project.

Anyway i can live with it now, because it was a relatively small project.

But i would really like to know, why in some of my projects LumaFusion shows the Filenames in the Timeline, and in others not.... because if it doesn’t show the filenames it is relatively impossible to reimport media, after you canged a path.... which in my workflows will happen relatively often.

Thanks for your feedback guys!!!
