I've been using the app for almost 2 wks with no problems. It would crash sometimes, but I was able to reopen it and it worked. I now have about an 8 min project going and the app won't open at all. It opens to the title "Pinnacle Studio" screen and crashes. I've tried restarting my iPad2, but it doesn't work. I'm afraid to reinstall the app for fear of losing 2 wks worth of effort. Any advice would be appreciated!

Hi gpowell80,

I'm sorry to hear about this difficulty. I believe we may be able to help get your project working, but we will have to ask you to send the project files to us (not the media).

Here are the instructions to do so:

You will need to download iExplorer from (it's free) and install it on your OS X or Windows system. When you start iExplorer with your iPad plugged in to your computer, it will show a list of all files on your iPad.

• Find “Pinnacle Studio” under “Apps” and click the arrow to open it.
• Find “Documents” under “Pinnacle Studio” and click the arrow to open it.
• Under Documents you should see “Projects" - click the arrow to open it.
• Find your project, then right click (or control + click on a mac) and use the Export to Folder command.

Once exported, please send your project to and we will look and see what is causing the crash and hopefully be able to send you a fixed version which you will add back to your iPad using iExplore.

Again, we are sorry for the inconvenience and hope we can get this fixed quickly.

Terri Morgan
