I have created an animated box a bit like the one in the LF tutorial videos which is great, but is it possible to import it as a project into another project so that I don’t have to create loads of single frames each time?

Hello Andii51081

There isn't a way to copy a series of clips from one project to another project as yet. But there are a couple of workarounds.

1) copy the project with your animation and use that project as the starting point for what ever else you do.

2) archive the project with it's media, and restore that project when you want to use that animation again.

3) copy FX presets that would allow you to re-create the animation in another project using different (or the same) media.

4) export the animation as a single clip and use that in other projects.

Some of these things might help you

regards

Androu Morgan

Thanks Androu,

The first 2 would work however the second 2 suggestions aren’t feasible. There could be up to 60 frames worth of presets that would need to be saved which is clunky and if I save it as a single clip it makes the background black so that wouldn’t work if I want to overlay it onto a video clip.

To be honest I’m just messing about exploring what is and isn’t possible at the moment. If you added animated titles we would be all good ;) lol
