LumaFusion 1.7 is now available in the App Store. This update includes great new features like search and sort in the library, soft edges and curved corners in cropping, and our new integration with Storyblocks, a great royalty-free library of video, audio and sound effects. A sample of clips are included free, with a low-cost subscription available in-app for access to the full library

This isn't really a feature request nor a bug, so I'm posting here:

I'm wondering if it is possible to import into LumaFusion an animation rendered in Adobe After Effects?

For example, I have some animated lower thirds to overlay on my videos, which obviously works fine in Premiere Pro.

The background is transparent with animated lower thirds. And the file is a .mov file, although I don't think it is the .H264 codec.

Now, I can't seem to import these into iOS or LumaFusion. My understanding is that it has something to do with the 'alpha channel' or something like that. In other words, animations or videos with a transparent layer cannot be imported into iOS or LumaFusion. Apologies, Im not a pro with all this technical stuff.

But yeah, I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong with the way I am rendering this file, or with the way I am trying to import the file, or if maybe it's just not possible at all on iOS or in LumaFusion?

Any confirmation would be much appreciated :)

Hello PresidentJade

Video with a transparency (alpha) layer are not supported in iOS and LumaFusion.

It is something that we hope will be supported in the future.
