Not sure. Basically all I did was take a screen shot of the web page and crop it down to just the search area then added it as an image in an overlay title on top of the main video. To get the main video to lighten and darken I used key frames and different filters before, during and after.

The red highlight box above is probably the quickest and easiest way to achieve what you are after.

On your original request though, as an alternative, you could grab a screenshot of the page from the video, pull this into a photo editor and draw a selection around the section you want to draw attention to. Invert this selection and select blur by a medium amount to blur the rest of the page and leave your highlighted area in sharp focus. Now just pull this into Lumafusion over the same page. This saves you needing to mess with transparency and you can still keyframe the blending opacity so it appears smoothly in the video.
The photo selection/blur piece is easy to achieve in the likes of Pixelmator, Affinity Photo and countless other editing apps and these make a great accompaniment app to Lumafusion.
