How do you make running credits as in a movie?

Make a new main title (not an overlay)
Add your text and reduce the font size to fit all on screen
Go to the size and fit tab, expand the view to the final width and position the start of the credits at the top of the screen
Go to the start of the clip and add a keyframe
Go to the end of the clip, add another keyframe and reposition the view to the bottom
Try playing it
You can now move it to the an overlay track if you want

Hope I got that right! I believe there are apps that make rolling credits which might be easier?

I made an example that you can use as a template, you only need to replace the clip and edit the texts.
 Template
And how it looks:

Do I have to purchase YOUTUBE RED? Seems like YouTube is now controlling more things. I uploaded the credits video to Dropbox but all it did was put a link in Dropbox for YouTube. How can I actually make use of the template?

Thanks,

Dom  :(

Lumaluke,

OK I see where you have an arrow pointing to the template above. But where does it save it when I go to it? You can't save anything for download on an iPad. I need to save it to dropbox. I'm still confused as to how I can make use of the template itself. Probably would work easy on a computer.

You need to tap on the link to the right of the arrow. The Safari window opens, in which there will be a button "Скачать" (Download). Tap on it and open the next window (see my screenshots). There it will be necessary to tap on the bottom link "More ...", then tap on LumaFusion.

Alignment guides will really help with this kind of thing for placing the two blocks of text on the same horizontal plane.

Undoubtedly they will help, but they will not solve the problem completely, because the block of text moves uncontrollably in the Titles window, and the exact coordinates in the Frame & Fit window will not lead to exact alignment by the values of X and Y.
